Hello friends,

I am kindly asking for guidance to align the laser guns of a Fuji Frontier 370.

An SOS 2529 error appeared after a power interruption , I replaced the Red laser gun and the SOS signal is now ok but the prints are all dark green with a black upkeep print image.

The Green gun is much brighter than the Red and Blue guns. Is this normal?

We have a total of four defective laser units (12 laser guns) and I spent hours yesterday trying to pick the best red and blue guns.

Please guide me how to align the guns properly as we have some urgent holiday work to do.

Thanks in advance,

Yes, a green beam is the brightest if to compare with red or blue.
You should be sure that you can see four beams after AOM crystal if to place a paper target.
One of them is "working'.
It must be directed to the first bracket's hole. This beam makes the magenta image on the paper.
If you do not see four beams after AOM crystal - there is no modulation. Check AOM driver or cable or AOM crystal.

It is not easy to explain in writing how to find the working beam here.
I recommend inviting any engineer who knows what to do.

All our customers receive the Installation manual with detailed step-by-step recommendations with photos.
Unfortunately, you are not in the list of them.

Hello yustas,

Thanks for the reply,

We are in Sierra Leone, West Africa and do not have any engineers here that repair lasers. I am an electronics specialist and I am comfortable working on the printed circuit boards and other system components but have not attempted to repair a laser unit before. The nearest specialist is in Guinea but we can not travel there now because of an unstable political situation in our country due to elections which are not yet concluded.

Back to the topic, thanks for the information about the four beams. I read about the "diffracted light of first order" and "0th order light" from a minilab training manual and I will check what you suggested.

I will update you when I return to the lab.

Thank you so much.

If you will be our dealer in your country you will receive all installation manuals. Please consider this unique opportunity to offer our service to your region.
Africa is a growing market so it is q good time to earn some dollars on it.
